Warped Cats is a project born in 2005. Songwriter Tanya Biondi was working on her first album as TRTV, but she needed to experiment with a different style, something immediate and lighthearted. One afternoon, playing around with electronic sounds, Entropy25 was born. Since Tanya is a lover of cats and the sounds she was producing were rather disorderly, she put together the two things and named the new project Warped Cats.
Because this is an extravagant project, Tanya decided that it should also have the peculiarity of only producing EPs.
The first EP to be released was Not Yet, and it was based on the theme of space, while the second one, Ok this is the popz!, is a sort of 'concept' album on the theme of the evolution of life and mankind. By the way, the title is a tribute to Tones on Tail.
